Restoration...
Restored: 1998
Total frame-off restoration. Frame was cleaned, sanded and painted. Body work and painting was done by a professional - all rust was cut out and new metal welded in. Body was assembled with new bolts, fasteners, webbing, grommets, and wiring.
Exterior...
Body has no imperfections, rust or dents. Painted 1996-1998 with PPG Concept Acrylic Urethane. Paint is still in excellent condition with a few scuffs and one scratch on lower right front fender that has been repaired. Bed has new pine wood painted black as original. Bumpers and grill were rechromed. All stainless trim was cleaned and buffed.
Interior...
Interior was repainted to original colors and is in excellent condition. New door panels in original color, new headliner in original color, new rubber flooring with padding. Rebuilt gauge faces. Seat is clean with no tears.
Mechanical...
Every mechanical system works as good as or better than original. All mechanical except transmission, enclosed drive shaft and rear end were rebuilt and working fine. The engine is a 261cc with full oil pressure with less than 3000 miles after professional rebuild. (Original was 216cc, which I still have to go with the truck if desired) Transmission is 3 on the tree. Voltage is 6 volt as original.
