Features... AM/FM Stereo, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Fuel Injected, Tilt Steering Wheel, Convertible (Soft Top), Seat Belts
Notes... This 1984 90s CJ7 has been completely restored from stem to stern, a true nut and bolt restoration and has many custom features. It is about as perfect as a Jeep can be in appearance and it is truly show ready. There is only 1700 miles since restoration and most of them are towed miles!
This CJ7 is powered by a newly rebuilt 350 Chevrolet throttle body, fuel injected engine mated to a 700 R4 automatic transmission. The front locking axle receives power through a new Dana 300 transfer case .
The paint is absolutely beautiful and 99 out of 100. No swirl marks and no paint chips except for one, where the hood meets the body near the cowl on the driver side . That is the only flaw in the paint and can be easily touched up.
The paint is accented by numerous Chromed items including front and rear bumpers, hood and tailgate hinges, Grill, headlight and tail light bezels, side mirror and entry access areas.
The engine compartment is showworthy...clean and organized . Note the underside of the hood is painted with the same qualty as the top side. The bay features an aluminum radiator, clutch fan, a serpentine belt system, chrome valve covers, K&N Filter, transmission fluid cooler, etc.
Creature comforts of the CJ includes power brakes, power steering, adjustable bucket seats with head rests and seat belts, tilt column with modern aluminum steering wheel, modern black faced gauges, a metal lock box/arm rest with drink holders between the seats and a 6-speaker Sony stereo system (10 " subwoofers with amp in back, 6x9s behind the seats and round 6-1/2" speakers in the front kick panels).
Additional custom features include LED tail lights and headlights, 33s on Eagle Alloys, License plate trailer hitch receptor mount, bikini top , 6 post roll cage.
Everything on the Jeep is new or restored including all of the bushings, the shocks, etc. The Jeep comes with half doors and full doors . The full doors are painted red and need internal panels. The Jeep comes with a tow bar and an original air intake painted red.
Although the Jeep is equipped with 4.11 gears and a front locker, its not set up to be a rock crawler. More of a cruiser. It's quiet to drive (you can actually hear the stereo) and there are no distracting squeaks or rattles at all. Acceleration is smooth and is not over revving on the highway.
She Passes CA smog on a dyno.
It's fun to drive and gets a fair amount of attention and many compliments...and ducks!
