MOPAR? 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. 260 V-8 2BBL carburetor 3 spd on the column. Maroon with black interior and top, this car will scoot. It’s not technically considered a muscle car, but it can lay its share of rubber.
Summary: Maroon exterior with Black interior and top. Frame-up restoration. Original or OEM parts. Completely rebuilt drivetrain. 260 V-8 2BBL 3 spd. Nearly all original. It is likely a number matching car, because we believe the engine and trans are original to the car, but this is unconfirmed.
The 65 Ford Falcon has not really gotten its share of attention, even though it has the characteristic boxy lines of the early MOPARS like the Max Wedge and the Coronet. And its 260 engine can’t compete with a Chrysler Hemi, but you can’t get a Max Wedge for under $16,000 either. Here is your chance to get a MOPAR precursor at 20% of the cost of a full-blooded MOPAR. This 64 Falcon has a completely rebuilt, engine transmission and stock rear end. Most of the trim is original, but what needed replacing was replaced with new parts. Both bumpers have been re-chromed. New exhaust system. There are some very minor nicks and scratches in the paint that show up only upon very careful examination. It is exceptionally clean. No rust. The undercarriage is very clean with only normal surface rust. Floor pans are perfect. Frame and rails are perfect. New convertible top lowers smoothly and quickly. No boot. The dash is original and flawless with no cracks and all the gauges work. The original radio seems not to work, but it has not been carefully examined. All gauges work. The carpet is new, and the front and rear seats are original and perfect with no cracks or splits. A non-smoker. Magnum 500 Wheels and New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. It has never been wrecked and has full documentation. It even comes with the original warranty coupon book stamped at the dealership on each visit. A really good deal. Make an offer.
